On the last day on the set of 4:44 - Last Day on Earth, we interview David Isyomin, the visual effects supervisor, who has worked on films like Titanic, Apollo 13, Block Party, The Namesake, and others. Isyomin walks us through the scene in which Willem Dafoe chops down the last tree on Easter Island as well as the window explosion scene and how they're planning to shoot it. He also talks about how VFX shots are usually handled and goes over some safety issues as well.
